Considering Radio 1 has quite a few good interesting electronic music shows, the dance music night on the Friday night of the big weekend in Glasgow was fucking shocking
not the only way to stop shootings - obviously there would still be illegal guns on the street, and thus shootings, but limiting gun access (making them illegal) would clearly help. to keep with your analogy, that's like saying that nuclear arms reduction agreements did not help stop the cold war.rayman612 wrote:Thinking the only solution to stop shootings in America is to ban guns
Is like thinking the only way to stop the cold war was to destroy all nuclear weapons
Neither of those things will/did ever happen
So.... lets find another solution to the problem
Nah, lets get on facebook and whine about making guns illegal, thatll work fine for now
that's the way to do it.ehbrums1 wrote:2nd amendment but yeah I blame the south for most of our problems
this. The only thing I really support when it comes to gun regulation is background checks to prevent the mentality ill and violent criminals from having access to guns. Allowing the state to have a monopoly on gun power is a recipe for state oppression.kidshuffle wrote:Guns arent even the problem, its the culture of violence/mass inequality.

Its a logistics thing
How could you possibly do that
by just making them illegal? like an amendment to the constitution that changes the 2nd amendment.ehbrums1 wrote:Yeah there's just far too many guns even if the legislation passed
Having seen the London riots, I must say that you're implying that americans are pussies.OGLemon wrote:this. if you were to somehow magically get a bill through to ban firearms, then good fucking luck telling Billy Bob Cousinfucker in West Virginia that the government is taking his AR15dubunked wrote:rayman612 wrote:There is no way you can make guns illegal in america though

sure there will still be gun violence, but obviously much less. and say hypothetically it would have no effect on gun violence - there is no downside to making guns illegal, and no opportunity cost of doing so, so there's no reason to not do it.
