Just watched the Blair witch project, Wasn't as scary as I anticipated and some of the time I think I was mainly scared because of how terrifying people said it is.

Saying that the last 20 or so minutes was pretty tense, probably won't watch it again though

Meh the film is shit, and it didnt help that fact that ignited a fluctuation in low budget first person/found footage shite.

Primer and Upstream Colour are probably the best films I've watched this year.
[+] Spoiler
Primer got real fucked up with all the technical suicides and what not towards the end.

Anyone catch the fridge being replaced before it got broken?
Can't wait to see what Carruth does next.

Yeah, the new one at the start with the ribbon...didn't make the connection until at the very end.

Also the pizza boy interaction where they dodge past him on the street, I couldn't work out if that was there because he was on his way to delivery pizza to other versions of themselves later/earlier in the day.

Definitely best ww2/courtroom film I've seen. You want to throttle the defense some of his arguments are so good, quality movie though.

Grim as fuck documentary on medecins sans frontieres. Worth watching.

asmaa- natalie portman meets mark from peep-show in this light hearted romp about aids, religious ignorance and love. the chronologys a bit disorientating though, who was were in what now? but it was alright. the text at the end before the credits made me actual lol , which is bad, right?
better ending than the other egyptian filmed viewed this week, Bolitya.
woman struggles corruption and jealousy of men and is helped out along the way by some gems but keeps getting knocked but back-up with that almost cracking get up and go glee, until the ending. no wonder they had a revolution if that was the ideology behind the film, 'the governments corrupt and if you go against them you'll lose evrything. best just go with it cos youll be (marginally) better off.

and inland empire, which I wrote loads of notes on. from what I gather it was a cinematic way of viewing the different levels of reality or the perceptions of and communicated the lack of clarity in all but the more baser of instincts, kinda.

im far too baked already to write some movie reivews. but, if I was to write some movie reviews baked, thats what theyd look like :z:

Finally got round to watching Lincoln Lawyer today. Really, really good.. the storyline was fantastic, could tell it was a novel which I found out later it was. A mate of mine told me hes read all the authors books and they're great so copped The Poet for £1.49, can't go wrong.

This was great, fairly simple story but played out really well. Top performance from the main character too.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

Was expecting a bit more from this tbh, still I finished it. Won't be for everyone, pretty good cast. 6,5/10.

Lego The Movie

Better than I expected, still gets a bit overhyped imho : 5,5/10 (but it's certainly for more adult audiences, that was good).
