Edge of tomorrow.
Not bad, feels like they got to the end and executives pushed really hard for an "american" ending over what the director might have done.

Under the Skin
got under my skin.
Confronting to say the least.
Wouldn't want to see it while having a bad trip.
Not comedy, chick-flick, action nor sci-fi.
Strangely, it said a lot about sexism to me...
Some scenes left me wondering htf did they do that?
Scarlett is mesmerizing (and mesmerized).
Lots to think about

Finally got round to watching Kill List.
Not as good as 'A Field in England' but the movie already showed Wheatly's potential. Yes it's a bit of a mindfuck at first, but I think the movie is simply open to interpretation
If you like the occult and conspiracy etc. you can view it plain and simple as a crime movie evolving into a rather sinister thriller (wickerman-ish) - you can also see that True Detective might have gotten some inspiration here.
Or you can view it as much of Wheatly's other movies: a study of the (in this case) modern British society done in a unique way.
It's a bit of a mish-mash regardless which is why it doesn't score nearly as well as A Field which had a more clearcut vision and more purpose. Can't wait to see what Wheatly does with High Rise.
7,5/10
