@ Maz: I recommend a peek into future studies and transhumanism. You have a legitimate, but nascent interest, look more deeply.
Or just think about it for yourself
but first take a wide study of the state of technology and economics so you get the inputs right.
The tightness of the web of ownership is stunning if you are not ready for it.

Re: Computer Passes Turing Test
From a purely technological perspective, this is cool but there are better tests that have been created to test AI since this one.

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.
Re: Computer Passes Turing Test
People are stupid enough to let smart computers reason that people will be better off if they let computers run things
thats how it'll turn

Re: Computer Passes Turing Test
Oh of course at the moment it is just a pipe dream and i am very ignorant, i have been looking at it all from a very anti-natal and misanthropic view point. I would do years of research before even starting. My initial idea would be to follow several character's lives as it gets closer to the end, i.e a person in support, a person against and just an average person. So would look at it through various different philosophies/viewpoints.nowaysj wrote:@ Maz: I recommend a peek into future studies and transhumanism. I feel i need a project/dream as i slip into the world of monotonous work otherwise i will shut down haha. It would also be a great learning experience imo.

Doesn't capitalism run on Supply and Demand. There's not going to be a demand if people have no money because they lost their jobs to scraps of metal.jesslem wrote:Robots are capitalism at its finest tbh.
Re: Computer Passes Turing Test
lemonism allows for a complete robot workforce
Re: Computer Passes Turing Test
If robots are owned by individuals, they can do the work related tasks in the name of the owner of the robot.
