Torres couldn't get a hatrick if he was given 3 penalties during the game.

and hubb why do you hate costa? he is such a class player

Oh don't get me wrong I liked that he was at atletico this season and he's one of the best attackers there is. And it's great how he gives his all even when injured etc.

But he has been the proponent of some of the worst tricks in modern football.
For example scratching people in the eyes after having stuck his fingers in his mouth, so the cut doesn't heal properly. He did that for a while last season until a paper caught up on it. Stuff like that is unacceptable, especially when you're as talented as him.

(Aragones)
Marcos Senna isn't straight up african though, he's probably part black and part brazilian.
But whatever Spain might have some issues with north africans but it's hardly as dumb as not knowing there aren't a lot of black people in spain like the guy said.
Imo it's just because people from spaion stay in spain and rarely travel because it 's nice there.

Fred was great at the confederation cup, he has been bad this wc but he's a class player imo. I rate Fred and Lukaku above Benzema tbh.

Benzema has been duvet'ed or packed in pillows from day one. And for some reason he is very popular.

He's playing with incredible people around him that want him to score but he has very little ability. Agent would be better for madrid imo just by virtues of attitude.

I'll admit he's had a few good assists this season

I don't see how the fact that he could have supposedly been duvet'ed relates to his skills... In the end, what matters is whether he performs, doesn't it?

"playing with incredible people around him that want him to score": oh yeah, Ronaldo definitely wants him to score more than himself, that's for sure

He's far from being that popular in France. Lots of people think the same as you.

I've never been a massive fan of him but I've always thought he was a player with an incredible potential - and now he's just starting to materialize it.
Maybe you don't remember but he had a few top notch performances in CL back when he was still in Lyon - he almost won games on his own, and not against small teams.

Anyway to each his own but I think he's going to shut a couple of mouths during this tournament - he's already started actually :)

And putting Fred above him... Sorry but NO.

Totally fair Lazy Alf

and he does have potential. Forwards can peak much later than wingers and he's only 26 now. I fully remember his Lyon days, part of my gripe is that he was the player he is now already at 19 and Madrid hasn't added anything to him.
Higuain was better in general and that didn't help either.

Don't you remember Fred at Lyon btw?
Not a success ofcourse but he scored some fully ridiculous goals back then.

Yeah nice goals but not overly impressed. He didn't leave such a great impression in Lyon tbh. And he never went to a bigger club.

Bit harsh to say that Benzema hasn't improved at all during his Madrid years. He's refined his techical skills, and excels at seeing and feeling the game. I can understand the critics about his relative lack of goals but imo it fits the current Real whose star player and scorer is Ronaldo.

Biggest critic I would have would be his inconsistency related to his lack of mental strength, that's undeniable. But it really looks like this is behind him now - or at least he's into a peak period right now, and when he is, he's definitely in the top 10 attacking players.

Nice finish from Villa too.

Robben with a sensational run, shot just wide.. very unlucky, deserved a goal.
