no connection at all? influential bristol label marking the movement away from dubstep to that more bass sound and ultimately a housey four four sound (probably the biggest group in town pushing that sound)
has no connection to
melodic bassy (very commercial) deep house bristol based label appearing relatively soon after
noone at eton messy every listened to an applepips tune?
Don't feel like the last part would be an unfair estimation tbh.
And to be fair, you could use a similar set of literary techniques to relate DJ Wanka to Beethoven.
maybe, but it seems a closer relation than dj wanka and beethoven
like
i'm pretty sure bristol didn't jump from being dominated by dubstep to deep house without a single stepping stone
but fuck it
Nah, they're both music.
Has it really been dominated though? I thought Bristol was always known for its diversity in music.
that dj wanka beethoven sentence was utter bollox jess

I think Ghandi was a plant, set up by the NWO in order to ruin the concept of revolution.

Yes, though in my opinion it isn't any less meaningful than more traditional expressions of sympathy.

yeah i suppose any form of sympathy is pretty pointless, apart from from an ego stroking perspective.

Expressing it can help individuals build trust.

His point was that having a point means that whatever it is that has one isn't meaningless.

ah ok so that proves my suspicions that sharing these things on facebook is solely an example of ego stroking?

No it doesn't
Just calls you out on the fact that phenomena which can be described and explained by and as 'egostroking' aren't pointless because there is a point to egostroking.
IMO, by the time you behave socially purely to stroke your own ego you may as well not behave at all.

haha its all good
maybne
if ppl see it and then look for a charity or something to donate money to
it would be more effective if something like that was attached to the image instead of just "LOOK HOW BAD THIS IS ):<"
bu t i dont see how ppl being made aware of travesties like that is ever a bad thing
