Not sure where they come up with this shit. Do they sit around and see how they can piss more people off?

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

Meh, its an inconvenience but imagine if someone managed to link an explosive to a battery or hide one in the battery compartment, you'd only hear "oh man the tsa are so fucking incompetent how did they let this slip past them" etc etc

The TSA are terrible, iirc that in a series of tests that were done, something like 80% of suspicious stuff that was brought through customs didnt get found. It costs an absolute fortune to run, is ineffective and all it does is make people feel better.

Read this and then tell me how valuable the TSA is.
Dear America: I Saw You Naked. (Confessions of an ex-TSA Agent)
My brother in law is currently a TSA agent supervisor in fact. His stories totally line up with what the guy in the article above says, although usually not as grievous. I think he doesn't tell me everything in order to maintain a shred of self-respect at the circumstances of his employment.

They've always forced me to boot up stuff.
TSA is out on the streets now, too, don't forget, not just at airports.
