Amit is one of those rare producers who have continued to refine and progress in their production while maintaining a truly unique sound. In the early 2000’s Amit made his mark on the drum and bass scene through his distinct production style with a stack of serious releases on such labels as Comercial Suicide, Inneractive Music, Metalheadz, and Bingo Beats. His production style is marked by dark synths, rolling percussion, and dirty drums mixed together with his British Indian roots. We know that he is a real game changer in his own right with many of his earlier tunes exploring half-time tempo production (Pirates - Metalheadz 057, or Roots - Commercial Suicide 012 for example) long before the rise of its popularity today. 2013 has been a massive year for Amit with the release of his tune “Acid Trip” on Tempa Records, which marked his journey into the 140BPM/dubstep territory, and the launch of his record label; AMAR. You won’t want to miss this one trust. Besides, you can sleep when you’re dead.
