Preparing for my vacation to the Philippines, putting some music into my phone. So far theres a ton of tunes from Dark0, Murlo, Submerse, and so far most of them are legal and free DLs.

i went for this, looks neat enough, i don't really need it for anything professional so wasn't that keen to spend 20+ quid on it, but i'm fucking sick of the other one's crap usb cable that the laptop never recognises

I have a Creative soundblaster. (the small USB key-like one). It's decent, no external volume control tho.
It survived plenty of falls and errr not delicate handling. Costs about 10-15 euros
