After listening to the video a few times, I think you can definitely hear the accent, especially at 4:03 when he says "Muslims from oooowl woks of life"

Since SNH has a plethora of experts on British accents I thought you might have some interesting thoughts about it. If you can't find the video, search for it on liveleak. Don't watch past 4:20 if you don't want to see the violent part.


It's becoming more and more clear that an increasing portion of ISIS are Westerners. Coincidentally, Obama recently announced that he is going to the UN to personally chair a meeeting about Westerners joining terrorist groups in September. http://thinkprogress.org/world/2014/08/ ... september/


It's weird how the digital age is changing terrorism. You can tell that the video was probably created with decent video editing software. I don't know much about video editing but it seems clear that they added lots of effects to make it seem more "evil" (eg the glitches when Obama is talking seem fake, and the very end of the video seems like an effect as well). I wonder how much these people are motivated by delusions of grandeur, playing out the role of the "evil genius" in a James Bond film.
