One thing is asking yourself a lot of questions, but you're also making some very broad comparisons.

Fame is money, money is power and in that sence they deserve more scrutiny than regular people just like politicians do.
Power/ influence invites scrutiny and it should.

That is not the same as saying they deserve this in any way ofcourse, but it's completely ridiculous to argue they should be able to have a unique form of protection or even buy one. Like really going for these guys because of the public pressure in a context where the public already care too much about them, would suggest.

So in that sence, me getting my ps3 hacked through sonys servers is technically as bad as this.

I don't think people think it is acceptable, I think they see celebrity culture as unnaccetable and that's why people treat them differently. Imo rightly so.

I thought the FBI are investigating because of rumours that the leak is based on an exploit in iCloud, which obviously affects quite a lot of people - not just Jennifer Lawrence?

it's a par to look up jungle producers on whosampled

just smartasses citing the same 4 breaks again and again. Some source direct tunes for example really sound like the melody is a sample flipped in some interesting ninja way, but ofc whosampled has no clue and just wanna post "apache" as a sample

Also annoying when people cite the sample source as another electronic music track that obviously itself is sampling

It's just that crate digging culture overlaps with peoples understanding of what sampling is. And the fact that the samples in (oldschool) hiphop were largely 'unchanged'. They are probably biased towards genres in that way.

You can't expect people in general to be able to pick it out but you can get truhed points

On you tube you can find people that points to how procal harum basicly stole passages from Bach in their song whiter shade of pale or similar. Proper digging.
