Eh!de Creaking Bass

Hey,

So Eh!de loves to do this thing where his basses "creak". The best way I can explain it is that the high end has clicks that run at a higher speed and frequency as the bass is modulated. It's also being used recently by Datphoria, Ray Volpe, and Zomboy (Although Zomboy might just be sampling it haha). I would love love LOVE some help in cracking the code on this thing. Great example: Hits right at about 1:15 on a sudden break from the drums.

It sounds a lot like a vocoder bass. If you're using FL Seamless has some great tutorials on how to make similar sounds using Vocodex.
