Dortmund is a better team for one. They are especially suited to destroy teams that are so dependant on having possession and building play on their opponents half. We've seen it for a few years now in the cl.

But it's not the defence that lets arsenal down this time, at all.
It's the midfield and the work rate. Think of how Wilshere played against city and then compare it with last night. They lose almost every duel and it's possibly only Ox comming on late that doesn't look flat footed. If a player like Øzil managed to keep any form of pace inside dortmunds defence, he wouldn't sell his whole team every time he lost the ball. Also Flamini, why?

Konscielny on the other hand played really good at times. The problem comes when Arsenal has to keep pressure on the opponents half, leaving half a pitch open - which is downright retarded in a tactical sence when Dortmund had three of the fastest players in europe in Mkhitaryan, Aubamayeng and Immobile going nuts.

I absolutely hated Wengers attitude yesterday. One is getting overshadowed by a guy in a Borusse hoodie :6: being all angry grandma - another thing is realizing that Øzil and Ramsey didnt have their best days and making a little show out of substituting them like it was their fault.

Liverpool v Madrid should be a good game though. Can't wait for that.

I've been really unimpressed myself. For me, he was a massive weakness for the team in the 4-2 defeat to Sociedad. Way too many misplaced passes, instances of him losing the ball, and poor decisions. If Ramos gets played at RB (he has been pretty shaky in central defence while strong going forward, especially for corners) then Ancelotti could make use of Varane who really should be starting more regularly. Come to think of it, I wonder any regrets are setting in over losing Di Maria yet. He has been amazing for United so far.

He has been completely shit at times but that means it's impressive how he is doing now because madrid is the worst place to prove yourself in football.
They haven't had a good right back since Ramos and before that Salgado - it is indeed super weird..

If anyone saw the germany -argentina friendly recently, they will know how wrong madrid where in selling dimaria. It was like spacejam or something - or shaolin soccer lol.. But tbh same could be said for Øzil and he is atm one of the worst players in the prem to have on your team imo.

Wondering wether Bayern can manage to fuck with city tonight. I reckon city is in better form right now and they have had a few good games against bayern recently.

Still, Carvajal is a major improvement compared to Arbeloa...

never got the arbeloa hate, he is not a top class player but he always do his job and is very good tactically. It pisses me of that madrid fans in here always blame arbelos of them losing when they have a 800 millions euros team

yeah I agree with that. he's always been good, it's just how boring his input is and how that doesn't 'work' in the context of a really braggy team..
Carvajal is more forward going but he has the same tendency to look clumsy on the ball at times. I think bot Higuain and Benzema have been more 'embarassing' though..

what is the opinion on madrid fans generally like in spain diego?

Is it common to be a fan of them or ?

I don't know where Im going with this.. it just feels like its not people that understand the game outside of being able to buy anyone they want and expect that.. .

oh higuain i remember the season in which he got injured he was playing like a fucking beast, he was the best player of madrid no doubt. dunno what happened with him

being a fan of madrid in here is synonymous of being a piece of scum that hits his parents in the day of their birthday. especially when you are not from madrid
the press in here just talk about madrid and barça and they only broadcast they matches in the TV so the win 10 times more money. Like you are listening the radio of a match of your teams and the narrators always start talking of cristiano or messi. bullshit

Benzema was far from embarrassing on yesterday's fifth goal... Granted he really lacks consistency but when he's on form he's top class. Higuain is more efficient but is nowhere near the technical level of Benzema.

ok I thought so. It's really a shame. It's like dissapearing technology and in a way both barca and madrid aren't even that 'spanish' if you know what I mean. In Madrid ofcourse they have Casillas but even with him, the fans seem to accept whatever the last coach says about him, despite what he has shown and proven.
It's only with Alonso and Raul that the negative aspects has come out in fullform in the press overseas.

I think it's like with Pedro, Soldado, Negredo or Giroud or someone like that. They are acceptable on good days but the rest of the time,
they stick out as sore spots on their teams.
I'm not saying either haven't had really good games. It's probably that both are kind of allround and don't really shine in one aspect.

Don't think higuain lacks anything tbh - he just not very flashy. maybe a little slow.
