Try doing assisted pull ups on a lower bar, then switch up to resting your toes on a chair using the normal bar.
If the pain doesn't go away, then check your form.

hmm yeah
im fairly new to it, but i do sets with 10-15 reps so i would of thought id built up the strength in all the right places
also i try to do very slow, controlled movements to make sure my forms good
give it another month n if it doesnt go ill stop doing them. dont wanna fuck up manz elbows

You can use the Smiths machine. Set the bar at it's highest, then rest your toes on the bench and do them that way.ezza wrote:yeah they dont have the assistance shit at my gym i dont think :/
