I didn't even realise that Amyl Wine-a bit of ket n charly, dancing disco-biscuits n reefers in da house was a singer! I thought she was a sort of Pete Doherty for the mobo masses...

Have to admit I'd be curious to hear this though as it seems to be getting the thumbs up by you guys.

Yes she has talent, unlike Doherty.

I do like some of her songs from her latest album but sincerely i am not digging this dubby version.
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

Love Amy Winehouse but not feeling this. Vocal sounds badly timestretched and doesn't fit the beat, too rigid or maybe just far too major a melody for what is a minor key song. All sounds a bit like a big clash. Not really into the instrumental either but i'm sure that is a matter of taste.

are u fucking deaf or something!??! or dont u like soul music...

this sounds really sick the first loop of her vocal, nice combination of timbres, would prefer it if it was chopped up a bit more and not tryin to stick the song on top of the riddim like u gets me

Ok so this tune has grown on me quite a bit, ordered my copy today. It really is quite a nice catchy tune, Amy does have a really nice voice you know. I see her on tv the other week at some gig, her kinda music aint really my cup of tea but credit where credits due, she has got a nice voice on her

who gives a f8ck about the vocal anyway? this instrumental is sick as you like, as is the moody boyz versus princ fatty tune that's out on 12" now.

welcome back to tony thorpe- originator from back in the day!

it's alright. I think it has crossover appeal. The Prince Fatty track they have done is sick, really dubbed out.

at first I was a bit shocked that they were back in business too! But fair play to them

Na the vocal is sick, makes the tune what it is. How you can say her vocals dont sit on it right?? This tune is big, any1 who says the vocal is shit must have something wrong with their ears. I will except people sayin they dont like the vocal too much, or its not to their taste, but no1 can say the vocal is anythin other then quiet nice

erm yeah they can. this is a forum. people air their opinions here.

i bagged it by the way, but i'd only ever play the version side

i think part of this is the fact that the words 'amy' and 'winehouse' appear on it. if this was pure instrumental or just a random anonymous vocal would the same criticisms be levelled at this track?
