Anyway, super depression like his, is bound to be dealt with by selfmedicating so it's not drug taking as such. Imo it's weird if it is cocain because it's so noticeable, more likely it's heroin.

Despite being under no illusion that it represents an all-time low point for humanity, I've always thought people exaggerated their reactions when visiting former izan concentration camps as tourists, but I had a walk around Dachau on Sunday afternoon and I can honestly say I haven't stopped thinking about it since. I keep finding myself absent-mindedly staring at Wikipedia pages about the Holocaust.

I'm not sure I ever need to see another, but I'd urge anyone to see one. Not that I ever thought the extent of the cruelty or savagery was exaggerated, but how potent the chill-factor still is 70 years later is utterly mind-boggling... I don't believe in "evil", but you can feel it permeating your soul in that place. The mere thought of Auschwitz now makes me feel physically sick.

had a similar experience one time, but it was drastically magnified by the fact that there was a shop when you exited, only selling hotdogs out of a tiny shop window with no condiments other than a slice of gross cheese around the sausage. The shop eminated from the building that was the camp. I thought that in itself was way perverse (not least with the prejudice towards germans and their sausage tendencies) but what really got me, was how many people in my class that lined up in a qeue to get one, even though we were leaving. I cant remember which camp tho..

I was to Auschwitz once and felt physically sick afterwards - especially since I knew some of my grandfather's friends died there. Never been to a place that grim and desperate before (or after, for that matter). Then, when I joined the army, there was this revisionist/negationist tnuc in my platoon who went on to tell me how there was a swimmingpool, casino and a whorehouse for the detainees... Needless to say, I had some trouble restraining myself.

I'm having a 5-day weekend and barely know anyone here in glasgow, so I went and coped the full Twin Peaks box set on DVD. Been marathoning it. Was fucking loving it until I got to

the bit where the protagonists basically solve the entire crime. Turns out an evil spirit named Bob inhabited Leyland and killed his own daughter. Now it's been figured out, but there's still like 10 episodes left. There's a plot with the Major - who was such a minor character in the first place - disappearing, but he came back almost immediately. There's some government space shit that's going on. There's some stuff with Deputy Andy measuring dicks with Pierce Brosnan and going about with a little kid. James Motorbike drove off into another story entirely. Agent Cooper might be kicked out of the FBI, yada yada. In about 3 episodes, I'm really not enjoying it . It's just a fucking soap opera at this point
