While obviously her looks are irrelevant to the fact that she's kind of awful I think maybe people are mentioning it on account of the fact that there are plenty "just a pretty face can't actually dj" type djs around these days and that she isn't one of them despite being awful and successful.

I didn't watch, I skipped through. didn't catch a single transition, but I'm assuming, based on the comments here, she can't mix? if that's the case, well, there's the difference. he can. but both have a flair for utterly bland, generic and shit music.

from few transitions i saw, they weren't even really clangy so idk where the bad mixing comes into play - i've seen plenty of professional dj's who were just as bad or not worse (shes definitely not as bad as TC lol). like you said the music is bland swamp type music (which i thoght alot of you guys liked), but if she was playing some tru hed shit most of the people complaining would probably be saying "its not about the mixing its about the selection"...

But her mixing is terrible, no flow and certainly no concept of blending.
I'd be ok if the track selection was at least on point and presented some form of cohesive flow.
She talks about journeys n what not but literally fades from style to style.

Obviously Oney is streets ahead of this shit but let's be honest, a lot of the technically gifted DJs have started to use effects a lot instead of getting some nice blends going on. Some of them even sack off beat matching properly let alone bothering EQing.

I dunno, I've not noticed any difference in blends. Oneman uses effects normally mixing out of a tune (same with loads of DJs) but I dunno what that has to do with blends?

His Solitaire vol.2 uses effects a lot but the blends from Tyree - Acid Over > Meli'sa Morgan - Do Me Baby > Paleman - Who This... Fatima Al-Qadiri - Knight Fare > Wiley - And Again, they're amazing.

I skipped through the vid, although the music sounds dull as fuck the mixing wasn't atrocious. At least she was giving it some energy, too many DJs just stare at the laptop nowadays.
