nah, a post about the dubstep scene. i don't think it's right to link to it or copy/paste the whole post but this is how it starts:
- [+] Spoiler
- There is so much unnecessary internal hate and passive aggression in our scene right now. I'm not sure if this is fuelled by jealousy, self preservation, or simple dislike....
Was just interested to see what people on dsf thought about it.

Sooner or later, those shoes you are wearing will find their way onto the slippery
poupe deck and that's no place for a cocker retriever.
Way I see it, you only got two options.

"There is so much unnecessary internal hate and passive aggression in our scene right now. I'm not sure if this is fuelled by jealousy, self preservation, or simple dislike.
In my opinion this shit has to stop, or dubstep could well be dead by its own hand.
It's not encouraging for fans/ aspiring new producers/ promoters to see bitching and jealousy filled posts and passive aggressive comments in their news feeds. It's just gonna be off putting to them and not welcoming to see.
Dubstep was founded by a group of friends who supported each others music. Friends who went to see each other deejay, played each others music and were genuinely enthusiastic about each others successes and input into dubstep.
Maybe we should be following the example that was set for us by them, because the scene was built on those foundations.
In times like these we need unity and infrastructure. Not divide.
Think about that for a moment at least." - Seven

contact labels mate
should be ur first port of call i think apart from feedback from other producers and friends

i've also been on the radio myself

Well on the upside from fridays whinging, we put in an offer on a place and the holding deposits gone through and we also got Glastonbury tickets \o/
For anyone who knows london im moving up to Balham (well its between Balham and Tooting bec)
Going to shave 15mins off my gfs commute, I get an excuse to buy a fixie and Balham mainline can get you to peckham in 25mins which means close record shops.

As where I live now, it takes me 8 mins at a push to get to work. It would be more time getting on it and then riding to the bike shed at the hospital, chaining it up etc than walking! and I dont have a place to keep it. New place has a "communal" Cellar

which seemed to be empty bar one bike tossed on the floor.
Might have to put a brake back on y bmx and ride that to work till I find one though.

Singlespeed with a brake is way faster. I always overtake those beards before a turn
Fixed is fun though. When I start my internship I got a 15 mile commute, working nights would
mean the ride home is at 05:30 though

Hahaha no im neither. Im a "sterile service technician"
Axed I actually meant single speed but I always call it a fixe, no clue why. I just want a bigger version of my bmx. One set gear ratio, one back brake, nice "riser" bars and yeah just something simple.
Ive got half a mind to put my drive train from my bmx and the seat/seapost from it on but it depends on if they would be ok (crank arms can be longer/shorter, Seat tube might be smaller/larger etc)
