so if it bangs, it's musically good. If it makes you cry it's also musically good.

w/e tbh
"achieving emotion" is pretty vague though, the emotional reaction I get from some incredible classical piece or something like Pavarotti is way different to the emotional reaction of hearing Pulse X in a club.. they both evoke positive emotional reactions. Appreciation of its complexity doesn't really filter into whether it evokes some sort of emotion. It's obvious that Beethovens 9th symphony is musically miles better than Pulse X, drop that in the middle of a grime set and no gun fingers will be drawn for. Its that whole "you have to hear it on a system" argument that people pretend is dumb, but its not.. a tune can be shit on youtube and can, musically, be a bit plain.. but straight up work in a set/on a system/even a festival atmosphere (I'll happily admit to liking some pretty bait deep house shit at a festival in the sun nursing a hangover with cider). Its why I respect Yunx so much, I'm not a fan of dungeon at all and wouldn't listen to the tunes he plays from start to finish like its some incredible piece of music.. but I'm never bored listening to his sets.

I'm always really discreet about the ecig cause I know it looks fedora af but people always seem to ask me for hits so maybe it's not????

Also mad people are using them these days cause you can use em in clubs and shit. There's a store near me that just sells ecigs and that's it. they seem to make good $€£¥£€$$

Samurai is one of my favourite dnb labels. I'm aware of their output. My point still stands.

This might be an English thing. There're people I've known, and enjoyed the company of, for ages who still text/facebook message me that they've seen me in places instead of saying hello.
