Was at work yesterday and my contact list on my phone randomly swapped with someone elses, got a bunch of fucking people I don't know and can't get mine back. Now I'm having to spend my day off on the cunting phone to Apple who no doubt won't be any help.

Was at work yesterday and my contact list on my phone randomly swapped with someone elses, got a bunch of fucking people I don't know and can't get mine back. Now I'm having to spend my day off on the cunting phone to Apple who no doubt won't be any help.

Apparently when I lost my phone a month ago whoever found it recently tried to wipe the phone and restore to one of their old backups which automatically wiped my icloud contacts and replaced it with theirs.. now any time I sign into iCloud on my phone it fucking wipes all my contacts and puts those ones on. I have to delete them all and hand write them into iCloud before signing in so it doesn't wipe them. Stupid you can't sync it in the opposite direction so my phone contacts can be updated to iCloud. Must be a way but the fucking support guy I was on the phone to for over 2 hours didn't think it was possible.

On the bright side apparently when whoever has my phone wiped it they need my iCloud password to get passed the first few screens so they basically can't use it now, which is a result cause my phone had no pin number or find my iphone so they could have used it normally if they didn't try wiping it all. Unlucky tnuc. Also noted down a couple of their contacts like 'Mum' so I'll give them a call tell the stnuc to give my phone back.
