Hey Particle,

Brian Ross here; manager of the band Particle in the United States. I was hoping to have a conversation with you about the use of the name Particle on Soundcloud and elsewhere.

Particle has been a working band since 2000, has toured extensively worldwide and had significant album releases since 2004. The band is about to release 2 new albums in 2015 and would like to make sure there is no confusion with their many fans around the world.

We kindly ask for the name to be relinquished on Soundcloud for Particle's use.

I´ve had that soundcloud url for about 5.5 years, if they´ve been going since 2000 then whoever is in charge of their online presence has been slipping hard, them motherfuckers can give me some P if they want me to change my name and relinquish the URL

Thing is there's been loads of people sharing names in the past and it doesn't lead to confusion if they're totally different genres. Like Cage the rapper vs Cage the (awful) band doesn't really cause a problem. Ebola the breakcore guy vs Ebola the band. It's stupid. It's only a problem on soundcloud. I'm sure there's other paritcles on soundcloud in fact.
