Detectorists

Anyone catch this? Great little show imo, well written/directed and really good character depth for such a short series.

Yeah man, it's a little gem I think. The gentler tone and subtle humour are quite rare these days. Most TV turns me into a frothing cynical bastard, but this evades the radar because it seems to come from a very honest and human place.

Just watched the whole thing in one sitting. Was pretty good, appropriately funny and heavy. Just wish there were more episodes, it felt like a film the way it was.

Really enjoyed this! Beautifully written and presented... felt like a proper little jewel in the rough.
