We don't really have room for a christmas tree, so I'm thinking about suspending
a small one from the ceiling. We really need to up our eggnog game too, because
last year's was like drinking pancake batter.
We have a second day of christmas. I honestly always forget that's not a thing worldwide
Our 3rd christmas day tradition would make more sense that way.

a second day? I mean in our tradition it's like 24th is the big party with the presents and dinner, 25th basically the same as before but without presents come 26th we still have leftovers and listen to the christmas radio so I guess we have basically 3 days of christmas ppl only get back to work on the 27th

Ah shit eggnog. I made that a couple years ago to see what it was like and it turned out real nice (I put a lot of booze in it).
Need to do that again.

eggnog is wonderful when you only have one glass of it. after that it starts to go downhill. mix it with a little brandy and you've got some nice christmas spirit

26th is actually a national holiday here.
Definitely doing the eggnog thing again. Maybe the right bourbon makes the difference.

26th is a public holiday over here too, but there aren't really any traditions associated with it.

Eggnog is egg, milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar and brandy when I make it. Shitloads of brandy though. You cook it in a pan and it's all thick when you're finished. Really sugary but if you put loads of booze in it it balances out to being real nice.
