at the end of the day tho, its nice to be in a relationship that doesn't need to be papered over by 'romantic' gifts (not that there's anything wrong with romantic gifts tho).

To explain the gym membership more, she's a student and cant afford it, and value's her fitness/ esteem she gains from it a lot, so its actually a pretty essential present, as bad as it sounds ha.

We just use it as an excuse to go out for dinner, or for the last 4 years go on holiday

Anyone upgraded to OS X Yosemite? I want to try it to play around with the handoff functionality but I have an older MBP so I'm afraid it'll just slow everything down.

It keeps telling me I should update, but I honestly don't see why. I'm running
Lion 10.7.5 and there's nothing wrong with it really. Same goes for Pro Tools and
my other DAWs. They all like each other right now, so I'll just keep putting it off.

The only things they change have to do with functionalities that I have never used anyway.
Same with handoff.
