It better be limited to one per customer
Re: Lost Loefah Dubs
i'd probab;ly eat a soggy biscuit for dis sheeyyyt
Re: Lost Loefah Dubs
meh loefah maybe could have kept it limited because he wants to keep it a special dubplate
(if you know what i mean - essentially it still will be to most of us when they are sold out)

Re: Lost Loefah Dubs
Just wanted to go on record before the smoke clears on wednesday and say that whether or not I get a copy, this fully deserves a bootleg pressing of about 1000 copies. Ripping a .wav from a pristine vinyl via a hifi turntable and amp should produce something quality enough for lacquer.

I'd be all over this totally shamelessly. At one point I was considering buying the bootleg of dmz007 but ultimately decided against it since it seemed like kind of a dick move (there's lots of copies out there, it's a document of time, etc) but a bootleg of this would actually be really funny and justified.dsprainman wrote:Just wanted to go on record before the smoke clears on wednesday and say that whether or not I get a copy, this fully deserves a bootleg pressing of about 1000 copies. Re: Lost Loefah Dubs
Exactly. I have no problem with Gizmo putting out new techno tunes out in releases of 300 with no repress (the Horsepower/Beneath split was fire, and is still in at Honest Jon's), but this is a tune that people have been waiting on for years, and should have come out on DMZ or at least seen a proper pressing. The fact that Loefah would stoop to something like this is pretty damn disgruntling, and a bootleg is 100% in order.Raad wrote:I'd be all over this totally shamelessly. What's even worse is that the people who end up coping this will be neckbeards that got into dubstep in 2013 and have 4 shitty recent tempa records and a crosley turntable.

Re: Lost Loefah Dubs
i bought that, if they're gonna make it near impossible for me to buy it why wouldn't i buy a copy with a different label for a tenner, i go see the dmz people wherever possible and buy the new tunes and try and hunt for their old ones so i don't feel im not doing my bitRaad wrote:I'd be all over this totally shamelessly. Re: Lost Loefah Dubs
Yea buying records is increasingly about so many other things besides the music--ho hum another fetishized commodity eating itself.

Re: Lost Loefah Dubs
Entitled would be demanding for the dubplates to be released in the first place. Loefah and BH owe me nothing, but should they choose to release the most coveted dubplate in the entire genre like this, speaking of a bootleg isn't the slightest bit unreasonable. I suppose you're one of the people who applauds this type of shit?Func wrote:The sense of entitlement on here is truly amazing.dsprainman wrote:Exactly.
