You should buy loads of tins of soup and shit for cheap, good emergency food. beans, rice, quinoa, tuna and tinned soup/beans/other shit, lasts forever

I've never had canned ones, no point when dry ones are so cheap, an amazing cheap recipe to cook like 6 dishes is to plop a bag of lentils into a pot, some water, and add 1 or 2 pots of fresh salsa, and wait til it's dried up a bit, yum

quinoa

never really gotten into quinoa it just seems some hyped super food, it's expensive, taste bland, not the best texture. I have only bought a bag of it once, I normally just cook it in veg stock with some dill, and parsley, and server it with some fish (normally smoked), and some veg. Once only had a 1/4 of a cup of brown rice left, so cut it with 1/4 a cup quinoa, and had it with a lamb liver I cooked, was pretty good. Got about 1/2-1 cup left, and want to do something different with it, just to give it another try. What do you normally do with it?

Been lazy as fuck for a few weeks now, and living of fast food, and ready meals, and feel like shit. Need to start cooking, and eatting some proper food again.
