Because they like his old stuff.
It's like asking someone why they care about their parents even though they've moved out of their house(s).

exactly. all his new stuff is gash and it's not like he has some old tunes that might be worth buying.

Mala tunes always go off at events.

Medi seemed to take a big hit with ST Holdings going under, I'm sure his priority was getting that back on track.. after the family stuff of course.

Ant War Dub is one of the most wanted dubstep records on Discogs. Up there with Untrue.

And playing techno isnt jumping bandwaggon. Dubstep actually is much less inspired than it was 3 or 5 years ago.

So they jumped from one bandwagon to another, and they might even want to do it again.

This thread title is unnecessary. I don't recall Mala ever swearing on his mum that he'd release some old dubs this year. Intending to release some tunes is not the same as promising to release some tunes.
"At our dance, no one's watching anyone really. They're just there in their own space having a good time... It's not like an old rave where everyone wants to come and hug you and be your friend. There's no moodiness. Not in our dance... It's just purely sound."
