I think he's saying everyone likes those shows, so that's why the list is predictable.

Just finished 6 feet under, sort of half watched it when it was originally on TV but watched every episode this time, and it's really fantastic. There's some weird (mostly intentional) cringey bits but it's so deep. As with anything that goes on for so long there are some dips, but the ending is amazing and there's some really shockingly funny dark humour in there.

Finished Borgen. Could've done with a more "The End" feeling ending since they'd planned it as only a trilogy, but I guess that's hard to do whilst making it seem like a real ongoing political world.

Truly brilliant show though. Tak, Danmark.

Had me digging out old episodes of The Young Ones and Bottom and feeling like I was 13 again.

you're welcome :4:

Seriously though, I feel like I'm one of the few people here who hasn't watched Borgen yet. Should probably get on that soon.

Really really enjoyed Utopia, the fact that it's canceled is super frustrating. Hopefully the Fincher remake will be good.

Been rewatching New Girl and Always Sunny lately. New Girl is pretty good later on once they tone down Deschanel's character a bit

Gave the first episode of Hannibal a go. Insanely tacky. Just the usual pilot thing?

Don't remember the first ep but I really enjoyed it in over all.
Goes without saying that it's worth sticking with, numerous over arching plots as well as self-contained ones within episodes.

What I liked most was that they don't patronise the audience. I find a lot of shows over explain things to the point it's just frustrating.

Well I got 10 minutes in to episode 3 of Hannibal and can't take any more. This is truly awful. Maybe it comes good eventually, there's hints of interesting stuff, but the writing is just unbelievably bad. It's like the worst episodes of CSI.

I'm curious what happens with the actual Hannibal Lector character but it can't be worth it.
