well
I guess I was suggesting that you can't be a sellout if you've got nothing worthwhile to sell.
which makes me realize why I'll never be a sellout

ahhhh, that makes sense.
I guess the idea of reaching a wider audience to market this anarcho idealism falls as soon as the people you wanna sell it to have to be tailored to in a way that makes you appear like them.

I want a copy of you memoirs. hurry up and sell out already.

you're the one with the interesting life dramas
I live a vicarious existence
and could better write your memoirs
particularly if you'd be ok with me imagining the worst.

Ok, then I'll stop making mindless comments too
someday soon.

Back to topic:

Do you reckon all the women who have followed Madonna's lead
say Miley, Mariah, Taylor, of late Ariana, all the pop diva bootie-shakers,
are, by definition, "media sluts"?

I mean, is that an unfair description for women flaunting themselves at every opportunity to make money
or, even if it really is, to express themselves creatively.

I'm in two minds:
one saying that they're entitled to overt but harmless sexual display without being labelled derogatively
and the other
thinking that that's specifically what they are characterizing themselves as.

Maybe we should distinguish between their on-stage & off-stage personnas
and think of the people they are employing, to give them the benefit of the doubt.
On the other hand, a prancing hole, allowing for interpretation of whatever movements it is making, remains a hole.
i.e. I'm entitled to call a spade a spade.

surely there relative to the culture. teenage boys again I guess, and the girls who want to know how to impress. the more I think about it it seems the music media is tailored for the benefit of teenage boys. you could say teenage girls, but a lot of that is just neurosis inducing 'am I as pretty as her' taunting with a sometimes 'you are beautifull' jaunt from a clearly more beautiful alpha femme.

I guess it could be indicative of a time where one of those boys will become the next warlord. best keep all the little sirs happy incase 'the one' comes and puts an axe in my skull one day.
or maybe a way to throw a million hurdles in his path before he reaches the mantle to do any real damage 'want beef, i got it for. 'she a sexy ass, shake it mo'
instead of 'the current crop of political miscreants are devoid of all morale compass time to set up a manifesto to wipe them out and bring on pasteurs new'.

hey I'm a soothsayer!
I could see that coming
and was tempted to turn the cliché into "call a shovel a spade"

and whether it's to comfort boys
or attract future warlords/media-barons,

once it's on mass media
beyond boudoir, pub, club or front of festival
and on MTV or industry showcase,
twerking away to solicit financial support,
with lips imitating arse holes
to delight the front row groupies

...man, that's demeaning yourself imo.

unless, as I've said, it's all an act
and the proceeds are going to ebola orphanages.

but they really can't help themselves,
one of the above-mentioned ladies,
upon retiring from appearing on The View
will say, about their replacement]:
"I'm cool about X filling my slot
with a 12" pink dildo"

and everyone will titter in mockshock

ah, the world is quickly passing this grumpy man by

but at least I njoy Two Broke Girls
