Sleepless Crew

Post by frebentos » Fri Oct 19, 2007 1:35 pm

Saw these guys in Glasgow and they utterly smashed the place up with a heavily dancehall influenced live performance. Im sure someone mentioned to me that they are a live act.

Anyone heard much from them?

No I don't know much about them. Only that they operate on the Glasgow's Dalriada Records label. They have three 12" 's on Boomkat of their own and one with the Wee Dj's. They are very inspired by acid.

Would love to see them live.

Seen their live show, with lots of samplers and beatboxes. Was sweet, but just about killed my ears!

Last time I saw them (supporting Benny Ill @ Glasgow Artschool), they did decks and effects, which was niceness aswell. Mixing up vinyl, effects, and some of their own stuff too by the sound of things.

Generally, top stuff and good lads!
