SELLING MY BIG BAD EAW RIG IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED...

Post by sugar daddy sounds » Tue Oct 16, 2007 1:29 am

There comes a time in most peoples lives when they realise they need to sell their beloved posessions! Unfortunatly for me, that time has come...

Some of you may remember me trying to get some rentals on this site a month or 2 back. Well instead of renting, you can just buy the whole thing!

Speakers:

4x Bass cabinets - EAW BV535's
3x 500W @ 8Ohms per cabinet - 1500W @ approx 2.67Ohms per cabinet.
Large Neutrik connectors - in/out - on the back of all the bass cabinets.
Some scuff marks from moving them about, a few have the EAW badges are missing from the front grills, couple of very minor chips on the forward facing bottom edges. Nothing that a touch up with some black impact resistant paint wont fix! (I guess I could've kept all that quiet, done the touch-ups myself and not mentioned any of it, but thats not how I operate!)

3x Mid-Tops - EAW MH-660E's - Must be Bi-Amped
1x 200W Top @ 10Ohms, 1x 400W Mid @ 8Ohms per cabinet
Each cabinet has a 60 degree dispertion.
3 cabinets = 600W top and 1200W mid @ 180 degree dispertion
Small Neutrik Connectors and banana plug holes - Neutrik socket accepts both Mid and High input through the one socket (I use the neutrik)
Less scuff marks than the bass cabinets, as they usually are on top of them!

Amplifiers:

1x Crown Pulse 1100 - Much loved, much used, but still amazing, and not a single problem for the whole time of my ownership! (If i had the money, everything would be crown!) - 7-750W a side @ 8Ohms, 1100W @ 4Ohms, 1600W @ 2Ohms
1x Yamaha P7000S - Wonderful amplifier, been kept in a 2U 'rack' case from new, with front and back covers for complete portability. Only really been used around 10-15 times. Has crossover/cut-off settings and all sorts on the back, see pictures - 7-750W a side @ 8Ohms, 1100W @ 4Ohms, 1600W @ 2Ohms
1x Aolong H1500 - I bought this new off Ebay a few years back, it is VERY heavy, but performs its job fantastically! Its 8Ohm output is 400W a side, it does 600W a side at 4Ohms, and 1000W a side at 2Ohms. Found the web-site for them:
http://www.cn-aoda.com/en/products.aspx ... ildCount=0
1x Gemini X-03 - Great amplifier, fell of a stool and bent one of the rear mounting wings, but this happened over a year ago, and after much use it seems to only be the exterior that was damaged (again, could've 'ignored' that statement, but its better to be honest!) Does 200W a side @ 8Ohms, I use it with the tops so as never to blow them up!
1x (W-Audio) Warrior IS 300 - Not really needed, I used it to power a monitor speaker, does 150W a side @ 8Ohms

Other odds 'n sods:

1x Behringer Ultra-Drive Pro DCX2496 - Complete system controller, digitally set crossovers, select which inputs go to which outputs, dynamic equalizer, limiter, gains, controllable from a serial or network connection to a PC

1x Box of all associated cables - If you buy the whole rig, these come with it, if you just buy bits and bobs i cant really give any away! (Im sure you know how the price of cables and connectors soon adds up into the hundreds!)

1x Behringer Ultra-Link Pro MX882 - 'Played' with (tested) it ONCE, never had any need for it!

Prices:
BV535's - £500 each - Only available in 2 or 4
MH660e's - £600 each - Only available as 1 or as 3, WILL NOT SELL 2!
Crown Pulse - £575
Yamaha P7000S - £390 - case included
Aolong - £270
Gemini - £130
Warrior - £90
Ultra-Drive Pro - £135
Ultra-Link Pro - £60

Complete system (not including Warrior Amp or Ultra-Link Pro) comes to:
£5300
Ill do it for
£5130
If you want the Warrior Amp too, then £5200
These prices include all the cables, it is Party-ready!
Get back to me with your thoughts, or if you need any more information,
Jay

I would imagine the forum, or at least some involved here could take a donation to pay at least the shipping to get it over here. I dunno about the costs of the system though
