before someone hurt themselves with it…

and my Taiwanese teacher went ballistic on me…



She made me cry in class - for real.

I was crying out of sheer frustration of not understanding
- how this was happening to me.

I swear to god - if I tried to bring a project like that to class…
I would have been immediately expelled.

or did I get penalized for acknowledging it?



I'm still really hurt about that whole incident.

That's why I have serious social anxiety.

Happens to thinking people all the time in school because it can only be a teacher that dumbs down what is being taught.
That's an inescapable truth that still escapes or is kept hidden most of the time in my experience tho..

I see it a little differently…

I feel like I was made an example of
- to spare the dumbass that brought that shit to class…

Where a student is being intentionally vaguely disrespectful…
and so a teacher must be sublimely punitive.

In this particular case - my role was to diffuse the teachers anger towards the perpetrator.
You know - getting your friends killed is more fucked up than getting it yourself.

but - I'm still having trouble with the situation…
Because I still took the punch - ya know...

I just hate some of those immature fucks I was in class with
…and some were my friends - good friends even
- but they just didn't understand the potential
- all encompassing effect their behavior could have…

In disrespecting a class project -
by raunchifying it.

It's a bit like wasting everyones time.

We were supposed to design a functional household object.
and she brought dildo bottle opener.

I did laptop speakers - and no they didn't look like little girls with pigtails.

My favorite of my own design was a simplified version of the cochlea ear bone…
So - it was these snail shaped - ear bone looking things with a speaker in them..
and I was calling them ear bones for your computer...



but this is what got made - this is printed on an FDM printer in ABS plastic.
I know it's clumsy - I was just learning so…don't kill me.
