Yeah it's totally observation bias but it still freaked me out for a minute

That said, they do have a pretty complex sorting algorithm as far as I know... and yes IIRC they do take into account people who have looked at your profile. At least that's taken into account when it figures out who are your "best friends" (the people on top of your chat list, and the people who gets listed in the friend box on your profile)

24-hour notation is used quite a lot in the UK as far as I know.
