Yeah think so & somewhere else.

Best bit of their Outlook set (last time i was there) was the first 20 mins, few old Benga/Hatcha/Horsepower bits, Stand Against War etc then it just descended into crowdpleasers

Which is great ofc when its the Clearing you're not that fussed that its silo pass for the 33rd time that weekend

On the reals tho all the legends would be great but Kahn vs Commodo at any point would be diabolical

EDIT: Tickets sold out now

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

i've never been to a dmz before, which is very unfortunate. but from what i've heard about the recent birthdays and what type of behaviour i've seen on social media, i couldn't be bothered shelling out that amount of money for flights and tickets. i rather feel sorry about missing the glory days of dmz than experiencing some massive disappointment.

^I don't think it'll be dissapointing. Just very different to the early ones + vibes of System-type nights

I don't think many people going will be expecting that sort of affair, I know its going to be roadblock, expensive + potentially ft. some unsavoury crowd behaviour- but that'll all be massively outweighed by the music played/potential lineup

If I was going expecting a classic DMZ/System vibe i could see myself being dissapointed but I know its a different beast now

If you've not been to one before, it'll probably be amazing.

If you've been to any other than the 8th birthday, it'll probably be shit in comparison.

most said 6 was shit, you should just not care about others and think to yourself, will I enjoy it? Will I like the tunes played, will I have a good time, will it be worth it for me
and just go if you answer yes to all, can't be bad, just ignore the scum,, had 2 barebodies jurking up to me all night + I was front row sweating like nowhere before (I really dread such situations) but I enjoyed myself and couldn't care less

you can never really compare 1 to an other too, I've been to system 3 times and can't say they've been the same much, just different vibes to different times (the ones I reached),,
fuck just don't care about what others say ffs haha its 30 yeah but it's gonna be a sick line up we all know that, yes it will be crowdy ofc but let's just hope sweat doesn't drip of off ceilings
the only bad thing that can happen is girls spilling drinks over decks :)

Now i think it, it will be really interesting to see how tru-hed-step works in what is essentially a big room club enviornment. No exposed brick walls ala Fabric or the
car park, no low ceilings and heavy curtains like PP, but a big club where they have RAM Records style nights on the regular.

Will it work?
