Am I the only person who doesn't rate Mala - Education that much?

Weighty for sure but the synth tone + melody is a bit standard for me, way prefer Level Nine, feel like the tunes do similar things but Level 9 is executed a lot better - more space + groove

Education is a more fun tune than level nine I'd say with level nine being more "meditative"

Ancient Memories O.G. is the rawest + best Mala tune for me, maybe Lost City too.

Also can't believe I slept on this tune when it came out, remember having it on the listening deck in Well Rounded + leaving it

Glad it's been repressed, lovely little wobbler

I was so-so about Education until it got dropped at System. Don't know if I was in a sweet spot at the time but when that low note hit the system just belched out the heaviest sub I've ever experienced there.

Yeah it's much better than Warehouse Dub imo and the reason I bought the plate back when it came out... still a ridiculously overhyped 12" tho
