kreng - the summoner
http://boomkat.com/downloads/1184404-kreng-the-summoner

defo worth getting if you have any interest in dark ambient or drone. one song gets a bit more metal, courtesy of amenra (the band, not the dubstep producer)

some things i'm into atm
Mark Fell & Gábor Lázár - The Neurobiology Of Moral Decision Making. really good album, out on the death of rave. probably the most out there shit right now imo https://boomkat.com/downloads/1263679-m ... ion-making
gabor lazar's other ep on the death of rave is worth getting as well.

Nisennenmondai ‎– N'. 3 japanese girls making noise rock that sounds like techno, backed with a couple of shackleton remixes https://nisennenmondai.bandcamp.com/releases

Anna Caragnano & Donato Dozzy - Sintetizzatrice https://boomkat.com/downloads/1200986-d ... tizzatrice

James Hoff - Blaster. this came out last year on pan but w/e. interesting stuff. not really noise, not really dance music. i think incnic worked on the artwork or at least on a video for it https://boomkat.com/downloads/1079640-j ... ff-blaster

Nochexxx - Plot Defender. easily some of the best dance music i've heard recently https://boomkat.com/downloads/1251106-n ... t-defender

db1 - ohnne titel. great dub techno/dnb crossover. out on hidden hawaii https://hardwax.com/01111/db1/ohne-titel-ep/

psychic tv - alien be-in remixes. only care for the silent servant remixes really https://boomkat.com/vinyl/1193114-psych ... n-remix-ep

I-LP-O In Dub - Communist Dub. new project from the other guy in pan sonic out on editions mego. p much sounds like name suggests http://editionsmego.bandcamp.com/album/communist-dub

new monolake records and pretty much everything on blackest ever black are worth getting also

some other shit that i haven't got/managed to listen to yet:
muslimgauze - feel the hiss & a putrid oasis
new varg and d.a.r.f.d.h.s. albums on northern electronics

I am buzzing that they're reissuing SD plates, but I'm just hoping "Modem" (the flip to Approach & Identify) is in their plans for the future, probs my favourite SD tune.

The rumours are true. Jim (Source Direct) and myself have decided to remaster and re-release the 'Source Direct Recordings' catalogue. I’m approaching select artists to do remixes of tracks from the SD catalogue which will then be released as individual 12”s with the remastered original on the flip. After I’m happy we’ve had a run of decent remixes and singles, we’ll be putting together a package to house the original catalogue with remixes in. This will also include a couple of unreleased SD tracks from the ‘90s and it will be the first time the catalogue has been available digitally.

well sd is the most accepted dnb for people outside of the dnb/bass scene atm imo. old enough to be cool, ties with stuff like blackest ever black, namechecked by everyone etc. i think sd represents what most people consider jungle is/was aka 95-95 metalheadz
