Reviewing Pearson Sound's Clutch EP back in 2012, I said "I'm not quite sure what one is supposed to call this music." He hasn't made it any easier since. [...] But what made them great was David Kennedy's unusual ear for melody.

Reviews like this help me abandon reading reviews after all and fully rely on my own judgment.

amazing album from pearson sound. truly one of UKs greatest with incredible consistency over the past 6 years or so.
gristle is my favorite track. so hypnotic.

I've only given it one listen through and it's a bit of a mix bag. I can sort of see where the RA review is coming from(Although it's a really bitchy review) as at times it does feel like a bunch of tunes put together. But even with that there, it has a ton of great bits through out it(Asphalt Sparkle,Glass Eye and Headless being absolute bangers)

So if I was rating the album I would agree with the RA rating and say that's it's a very solid 3/5 but the review its self is shite,
