sorry to hear about the nonesense lads. those guys were pollutin the vibe throughout. wasteboy stuff.

all that aside, last night reminded me how lucky i am to be a part of this scene. towards the end of dave q's set i was too tired to shake a leg any further (except for with `feel me` and `den of drumz`, self generating energy business) but instead of just ducking i decided to sit on the sofas and just absorb bass, all the while surveying the scene. comparing that scenario to all the countless swag nights out there i fully appreciated the sound and vibe of this music we all love so much.

mala and loefah were the only ones who truly killed it for me, once we got past all the spongebob/fuck off stuff it was sheer 20,000 leagues under the sea depth. heads vibes.

oh, and distance remix of far east assasain!!!! sick-one!!!

big shout out to my `lets get the fuck out of brixton` brother roko (happy bday weekend bro), res-ho, dj grand, sparkle markle, the metalbox comeback tour, M.I.A-H.O.D and all others i chatted to but can`t be bothered to come up with alternative names for.

no love for the concentration camp outside.

why does the soundsystem get quieter every time? if your standing by the bar/doorway you cant get anything from the system.. it's poor.. there was a time when you couldnt hear yourself speak inside Mass, now i can hear myself whisper. you can only get something out of it when you stand at the back. they need to put some speakers up at the front cos bare ppl are missin out!!!

DMZ LOEFAH smacked it. Mala rocked some heavy cut mixes. Poison Dart killed it.

Skream was heavy, Distance smacked it.. 'maintain over madness' into distance remix of 'make me' was deeeeep!

sitting here at heathrow with plane delays.

shout out to the whole dmz family. you gents have made it through 2007 with some of the biggest vibes i've felt in a very long time and they continue to be fixed in the brain. thank you for everything (mala, loe, pokes, coki). extra special shout out to loefah ,mala and kode who all proved once again their legendary status and all around generosity. made my trip.

all the set's were fire right to 615am. it was so great to see matty grace the dmz decks, after seeing how ridiculous 50,000 watts went off at the 2nd birthday in march. i think if you ask nick or matty they'll say the same. out to juakali and dave bringing the complete dubwar vibes to dmz. big things.

i'm definitely going to forget names here, but here goes. out to :
boomnoise (mc boomnoise Halloween version.lol),
clouds (great to meet you man),

grandizzle (for doing the 3 night b2b business. top don!)
kid cazual-misery-bert (as always some of the biggest soldiers ever!)
deapoh (larging it. Good to chat!)
heny-silkie-quest (so good to have words and speak truths. you guys deserve everything coming to you. respect)
clouds and the other finnish crew (so nice to meet you guys finally.)
georgy (my first dots! they'll be more for sure. lovelylovely.) ,
subeena (keep your head down and more beats.) ,
pk, stanton and alex incyde (for the curtain rd banter. big up)

jenna, elemental, emma ,chefal, whistla, delphine, camille, metalboxproducts, distance, oneman , the group of ladies from paris, the guy from russia that was screaming in my ear about the forum (so sorry man, i could barely understand you with the subs in there. no disrespect.)i've forgetten a lot of names right now. so sorry. need sleep. one.

WOW what a night. Really fucked up to see that sort of madness concerning PK and Stanton happen at DMZ of all places. Really surprises me.

Despite that, everything was great!

I cant say how much of a pleasure it was for me to see my boys Matty and Nick killing it up there with Juakali on the mic. Tes and Dead-O were also LARGE.. also really enjoyed Distance (as I always do) and Dave Q's set at the end kept everyone going til the lights came on.

Always great fun for me to b at DMZ, and to see all my dubstep fam all in once place. Too many names... but big up the travelers.. Moonshine and Subsound, Seckle, Dead-O, Tes, Dave, Nick, Matty and Juakali.... not forgetting all the finnish massive!

also out to STEVIE G!

All i can say for now is

R A W !

Itchy Shy Bot was almost in tears when Nick dropped it! :D

Great to hear the sounds of Finland and the States in the womb of DMZ and a top international turnout to bring some of their own vibes to the dance!! Wicked to chat to you again seckle, will see you at a Dubwar soon no doubt! And same for Moonshine and Subsound, Barcelona is calling me!

Sorry I had to bail early, was a bit wronged in the mental from 2 heavy nights previous, no excuses I know!

Out to Morkle for organising the Effra Squat Party, was the biggest yet and they even put a sign up asking for new bar staff just to cope with the international dubstepping throng! ;)

See you lot at whatevers next in the calendar :)

Highlight of the night was The Effra! Seriously good to link up and have an actual conversation with a few forum folk. Moonshine Bcn, finally, FINALLY so good to meet up with you after all this time.

Lowlight clearly was seeing the muppet trying to smash a bottle over someone but at the time I didn't realise who was supposed to be on the receiving end of it. Big up pk it was good to meet you (and be interrogated!) and your chest for wading in. Large up Poax for getting the vibe straight back up.

I think maybe it should have been alcohol that was banned not smoking. All that beer with no weed make for some angry man. Also so many pissed people in Shoreditch trying to walk into the path of our car I thought I was playing Lemmings.

Tes la Rok was BIG! But yeah you are right the system is low compared to a couple of years ago. Drinks on the back bar stay put and the wee doesn't wobble no more!

Really needing my bed right now. Big up all in attendance.
