I was ill unfortunately but my the night was made worse for me by the crowd. Everyone was so fucking young and there were people from all walks of life there. It was a rave not a dubstep night.

And I couldn't find a decent spot where I didn't have to move every minute to let someone past. MOAN MOAN MOAN.

Think it was just the illness TBH.

Very serious night indeed!

Hang tight the brudda who collapsed outside in da smoking area!
I was standing near him and heared his head hit the floor! He was out cold man! I had to get a bouncer for him (while trying to bill me spliff) who was fucking useless, just stood over him doing nothing while I'm telling him to put the brudda in recovery position, took the dumbass ages to do it! Then another bouncer came over top help out and seemed to have a better idea of what she was doing! By now the brudda was sitting up but I weren't feeling how the security just left him to get on with it after, he could have had some serious concussion! Hope you went to A&E to get checked out mate!

As for the music! Too many good sets to mention, ones that I heared and stood out for me were Digital Mystikz, Scream, Distance & Dead O & Tes!

Big up all da gang who reached with me, large up Chris, Heny G, Silkie and AC! Big up Quest who was skanking in da DJ box for most the night! Vibes! Hang tight J5, Rector, Mala, Scientist, Youngie and every1 else I bumped in2! Hang tight the loose stringfellows gash in Mac D's asking me if I 'drive'! Furthermore big up every1 who was in Mac D's and saw the shenanigans with the crack head and the shared drink! :o Nasty!!!!!!!!!

Bring on Leeds!!

Need to put an electric fence around the decks to stop stnuc rewinding tunes.

Rewinds should be rare anyway IMO reserved for biggest 2 or 3 reactions of the night. Not every tune pulled back by some pissed up tnuc.

Couldn't get in straight away due to the fighting but Skream was wicked and so was Distance.

It is getting quieter in there though isn't it? Is Mass putting restrictions on the sound level?

well well last dmz of '07 then. been a big year! had a good night saturday as always but it was strange atmosphere. got there really late, mates lost wallets etc, the drama. will never hate on the night but thats the first dmz ever that i havent massively enjoyed. still stayed till the lights though blatantly! all dj's were on point, i personally think mala and distance ripped it. mala's mixing was deeep. skreams reaction to people chopping his tunes is always entertaining, but the pull ups were getting a bit annoying. agree with tronny, system was well quiet. i really was wasted by the end of the night though. big up to everyone

pk you done ok man, but please dont put that fucking photo of me up!
peace

no photos ashley?

yeah certain "rogue elements" made it in to the dance and tried to spread their poison - but i think the majority of people blanked it - i really didnt want to mention it on the mic cos i think that in itself highlights it and maybe makes people feel a way, but i had to say something cos man cant tolerate that kind of bullshit ! Ecspecially when i hear about who it is that it happened to, some good people, nar-mean?
i cant help but feel the age difference and fassie-ole invasion is down to media hype bullshit which just bolsters my belief that this music needs to stay underground, but thats another rant for another day.

soundsystem was a bit strange - just holdtight it is something we have activley been trying to rectify and 2008(or should that be 2002 ) should deliver the solid weight we are all used to/expect.

also can i suggest that if you do like to dabble in mind altering "gadgets" that you procure them before you arrrive at the dance and maybe we can stop these chumps from snatching good peoples money.(tbh i think your brave to buy shit off a total stranger anyways)

rewinds=concurred ! certain times even when you get the big reaction you wanna just let it roll! never mind, cattleprods next year!!

apologies to everyone who had a negative experience , if youve been before you know thats not how we do things! first timers - what can i say - again i apologise.
bigups to all vibes troops who didnt let the eedyats pollute there evening !

heres too 2008 - time to rebuild!!

bless up each and every!!!

You hit the nail on the head Mr Pokes.

i think the first track of the set was mala - living different. amazing tune! i was hoping to hear dun stinky as well, but maybe next time. really enjoyed the dmz set...sounded like some new loefah was played?

also skreams mixing has improved a lot over the last year and his set was big as well. cottis set was nice too it must be said.

didnt see any of the beef myself, but i think something was going on at the doorway next to the seats, and my friend said the bouncers had to have a lock in at one point. not good to hear!

wouldve have loved to stayed on to hear dave q open up with survival of the fittest too, that mustve been sick
