man
I am an old geezah and I learned to appreciate falling brown leaves all over my big ass midwestern yard. yes I have a house with a yard. the same house with yard would cost me 4x as much in san diego. so I am here, braving the cold.
my "white" ass shall freeze again this winter, as I save money for mine, and my childs future

i never heard anything about this white deal...i will gladly call myself a pussy when it comes to being cold. i get cold super fast and its not fun. it makes me wanna just curl up in a ball and not do a thing. not to mention i hate getting goosebumps.
and i hate having to layer. im actually wearing a long sleeve shirt with a tank under it and then a normal pull over hoodie and a zip up hoodie over that. wtf. i feel all bulked up. but i have to stay like this to be warm. i hate you cold weather. and the rain.

Spring and autumn have given way to elongated summers and winters where I am.
Love these dark nights. Love them.

CHESTNUT is here as well.
your time
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

I love seasons. Everything looks and feels different. It's magical. You can fully appreciate every season.
Things get monotonous when it's always the same. It's shit.
In Southern California, most people don't care about seasons because they're too busy shopping to notice.
