I think you're right about funky house- its bound to become something more interesting in the future.

That Broken Heart RMX needs to drop ASAP.

oh and that FWD squat party looks interesting. I think it's a good idea for dubstep to take place in parties like that, keeps it underground without restricting itself.

um, did you look at the lineup elegato? it's hardly your mainstream crowd pleasing anthem-bashing dubstep lineup...

I meant dubstep in general rather than the evil ammunition empires Death Squat parties

Yes, I tend to agree. Might keep some of the hangers-on at bay. Fingers crossed anyway.

It's an interesting question whether or not a squat party allows for more freedom in a DJs selection than a nightclub event. On the one hand you might attract a more dubstep dedicated crowd. On the other hand squat parties are almost always drugged up messfests.

Perhaps good that this one finishes at 4 then?

No need to indulge.

And the smoke will mean we needn't smell each other's vile flatulence - something that's definitely tarnished some recent dubstep experiences for me.

Yeah forgot about the smoking thing, something that's really quite crucial to the vibe of dubstep and now sadly missing from most dancefloors. Another good reason to start using squats

a squat party does not require you to go & get tickets, or finish at 4am - this is not a squat party, just a dubstep rave at a slightly more edgy venue. You ain't gonna get many dogs on string or crusties driving 'trucks' at this FWD.

i think you're being a bit negative elegato. to me the lineup is amazing, really refreshing and the venue will be really fun, without all the sound quality issues you often get with lesser soundsytems...

you're right, i am being extremely negative, and all of the above is true, in many ways it is a sick thing, and will be a banging night. i have just been made really sour and cynical by the way that a lot of promoters in London treat something so symbolic of the rave ideal as a fashion accessory or marketing technique

i am sure this is not what sarah ammunition is doing

Find them, liquidise or gas the hippy element, bury their bodies under the sound system and wheel up Cockney Thug 2000 times in a row IMO
