It's a bit sad that some people think that to enjoy a certain type of music, you have to dance a certain way.
Let people do whatever they want. If you get bumped into, let them know you object, dry your eyes and man up.
No-one should be able to dictate to you how you enjoy your night, as long as you don't cause anyone actual harm.

crazy dancin is all good. brockin out is needed when a good tune comes on.
moshing is for cocks who need to go to a nofx concert.
right....umm...i dont even know what that means....
BUT no one was moshing. or does mosh at dubwar. that i have seen. agree theres no need for that. but when heavy tumes come on that make you wanna jump out of your own skin. people are gonna get a little crazy. ive seen it even on clips on youtube from big things over in europe. why all this hate for no reason. half the people that even commented here werent there. end of story.....no one was moshing. use the correct terms. we were all just getting hyphy. one person felt the need to get attention by bitching about a group of people having fun...boo hoo...exactly...dry your eyes and brush it off and get back to enjoying your night. The title of the thread says "moshing" and I think it's fair to assume that that gives the impression that the topic under discussion is "moshing" and not "jumping up and down a bit".
Plus people in the thread are defending "moshing" (their words) so people feel inclined to express a contrary view to this (because moshing is some retarded shit).

Hmm....

I get my brock well and truly out in the dance, I rarely bother people as long as they're not coked up elbow jabbing ponces.

Plus it's not even 'moshing', it's more like a community brock-out, especially when it's close quarters in a packed club
Nobody's badmind, everyones smiling or bass face. Powerful music ellicits a Powerful response.
You naysayers come like some sensationalist news exaggerating it into the 'wall of death' or whatever.
I'll bet you'd call this moshing:

Not a fan of moshing, have been to numerous indie/rock nights with my girlfriend (not really my type of thing, but some have actually been quite good), and the "moshing" at them got me so angry. Both me and her nearly got trampled on and had our legs broken, she has been punched in the face by a security guard trying to stop some gurning fool from mobbing the band, and got my hair soaked in rancid beer. Do i want that kinda thing in dubstep? Hell no
In my experience it is a lame way of dancing for drunk white people who can't dance. And this is coming from me, an individual of the honky persuasion who doesn't dance all that often. Although having said that, went to my first FWD a few weeks ago and did brock out severely, bass brings that out in me.
