Boston has some activity going on. There is clearly no lack of events, however its getting the word out that tends to be the drawback, however Ive got some ideas cooked up which might help us get folks familiar with our underground sounds.
I again extend an invite to those of you who may be passing through town. Hit me up. There are plans to bring some prime talent as we build the numbers. Producers ( hit me with the tracks) and I'll spot light them.
Jason Mundo thanks again for your support we will certainly make sure that Dub Assembly is well represented during Operation Underground, and look forward to seeing you in the city soon as well.
Headhunter, Unfortunately I was out of town during BASSIC but I'm sure I'll catch you in the near future.
Joe Nice, Halloween was killer, as expected, everyone had a good time and those who didn't get what all the noise is about in regards to Dubstep, well I think its fair to say that they get it now.
Boston is a tough city, there really is no strong following for underground music and guest bookings are a draw to the extent that we can educate people on who you are and why they should come out to see you. So we thank you for working with us and our severely limited budgets and lodging arrangements. We're building a culture around community and music and appreciate your understanding of our "humble beginnings".
Bedroom rockers? of course we got love for you too. Keep practicing, keep developing your sound, and hit me up. we'll carve out a space in the lineup for you when the time is right.
Peace
Jamal
