i didnt read link to the thread either, debates about music what the fuck for?... you love it or u dont. converts, this scene is underground m8 and i think most people on this forum are real conaseurs(forgive the spelling). dubstep is a pure scene at the moment and everyone is buzzin off each others music because we're a select few that really have it in our hearts. no one cares if it gets dissed by other forums, let em get on with it. all i know is dubsteps in my life dnb is in theirs. hence the name of the forum i'm in. no ones interested in negative opinions here just dubstep!!!!!!!!

i am having quite the laugh reading the DOA stuff, considering one of the cats talking is a local dude who is well-known for being falling down drunk whenever he plays here. had to be carried out last time i saw him at the pub. this is not relevant to anything, just funny.

i didn't read with the intent of responding, just bored and usually watching a bunch of music nerds waving their willies around can get pretty entertaining. ah well...amusement over.

Wow, to be honest I would expect this sort of shit on forums like DOA. Yeah there's a lot of ignorant opiniated mother fuckers on DOA, but the key to DOA is recognising who the safe people are. There are fucking loads on there and they are in the majority. You will get more reception and feedback on any dubstep mix or tunes than you would on something as specialised as this forum. To be honest, there's a distinct whingy bitch sound coming from this thread.
I make music as Forsaken, you can DL all my unreleased (and a couple released) bits here.

much as I hate some aspects of DOA - pete is right - had some really good (and fast feedback) on the grid in the past and I have undoubtably learnt a lot there.

But yeah, wrt this thread, why the f**k would you pay any attention to world renowned?

if somebody dosnt like another style of music - keep your gob shut is what i say, theres enough negativity in music without whinning on like a little bitch about another genre you dont know enough about or understand - if you have nothing positive to say keep schtum!. narrowmindedness breeds negativity and there will always be the odd c*** that has to put his two pence worth in. tell em where to get off and ignore em or just ignore em totally. it also annoys me when people do this beacuse i post there also to share tunes and samples and stuff and to learn and you get labelled with their bad rep. big up all producing crew and fuck the haters.

standard

i am not attacking the music i downloaded all of the mixes in that thread

basically there is a certain subculture that goes from one sound to the next, but how will something like dnb evolve if people jump ship all the time, how many times do i have to hear that dubstep is better than dnb basically hey riccardo sorry you are wasting your time working in a shit genre

please leave it there. or better yet, don't contribute to it at all. starting pissing contests and making it a matter of 'converts,' 'beef,' etc. can only be detrimental to dubstep. if you need 'something to do for the next few hours' why don't you make a beat or something. do something useful. one of the best things about this scene is that it's fairly grown-up and positive. it would be nice to keep it that way.
i agree with you

no more converts please

its not as easy as i make it look it involves three trips to mcdonalds everyday, i have to read a copy of my favorite magazine Guns and Ammo cover to cover, and when i am not slagging the fans of burgeoning Anglocentric music movements, i am listening to Paul Wall and calling my mom to tell her "America Love It or Leave It", she's an immigrant btw, as was my dad, so i have to exercise my xenophobia on her whenever i get the chance

fabio lets loose on doa. lol. absolute classic. i'm not a doa hater by the way. not by a long shot. doa's just changed drastically in the last two years...or it could be i'm getting older/wiser/less patient.

yeah - ive havent been regularly checking the site much lately, so i havent seen all too many of aa's posts, but to me - it seems like the negativity thrown back at him is more vicious and unneccesary than what he says in the first place. Maybe the best way to combat internet negativity isnt by trying to make the accused feel like a moron? Maybe i havent read enough of his posts like i said?
