Post by the duke » Fri Nov 16, 2007 11:04 am

I know on a Mac you can get a programme that lets you play midi notes on your computer keyboard..Is there an alternative on the PC? It'll help me make stuff when im away with just a laptop..

thanks in advance..

:)..i actually quite like that..

i meant more on a software front, that'll allow my qwerty keyboard to trigger notes..

i know in logic & ableton you can do it, but other software like Reason doesnt..i basically just need to trigger notes in reason with my qwerty keyboard, so any ideas,to play around with ideas on the move..

cheers

I posted this in another thread, but just incase you missed it...

You can use your computer keyboard to input notes. You need to install a program called Bome's music mouse. Possibly a new driver aswell. All the info is here
