Any likelihood of a DMZ repress?

Post by docdoom » Fri Apr 21, 2006 10:55 pm

For the early DMZ releases that some of us missed? Wonder if this will ever happen. Or indeed some Big Apple ones, the Pathways ep or the Skream Vs Benga one.

Perhaps some Big Apple tunes and older DMZ tracks will be released as a compilation in the future. I'd like to think so, anyhow.

With regards to eBay, it can get quite mad...a DMZ001 went for over £40 - was it anyone on here who bought and paid that much for it?!

They repressed 'Officer' once so they may do more.

Dont reckon they will repress 001 or 002.

Some random techno dj has my DMZ001 after leaving it on a turntable in Dublin at New Years. Doubt i will ever get it back or get another copy without paying 30+ on ebay etc.

Still, i live in hope.

You'd be hard pressed to find a copy of this easily but they're still floating around.

The most I paid for a second-hand record was £14 (Artwork - Red EP). Would you say that's reasonable? I thought about this for a while, but figured it was worth it. It's not exactly a life-changing amount.

Funny thing is, the very next day, after looking for this for months, I finally found 1 last copy of this on an Internet shop at normal price. So obviously, I had to order that too. :P (Didn't get te package yet, though.)

There are so many new tracks being made, played and there for potential release right now, I very much doubt a repress of 001-3. At least not in their original form. Wouldn't a triple-pack of 'selected highlights' be awesome?

I quite agree there's nothing like vinyl. but gone are the days of me spending £30 on a single record. at least the audio is still available at a reasonable price, eh?
you folks are the most agreeable ever. that's really something, for an online forum.

I missed DMZ 5, that neverland / stuck one I think, and would think it would still be floating around but still have had no luck.

Anyone seen it around?
