I seem to recall a book 4linehaikus mum has that is a weirdly serious account into how aliens must have built the pyramids :o

Might have to investigate that further over xmas!

the moon isn't like any other satellite in the universe with its relationship to the planet it circles
I was under the impression the moon was made from the resulting debris coming together via gravity from a meteor style impact on the earth while it was forming? (seem to recall pictures of the earth being molten or some such...)

This is proper memories of like the usborne book of space from when I was like 8 or something, so please do feel free to tell me whats changed in our understanding since then! (I love stuff like this, always have!)

did you know they found a pyramid complex in bosnia and the biggest pyramid is bigger than the great pyramid of giza

"scientists" are claiming it doesn't exist because according to the dates, there was a glacier covering bosnia at the time.

apparently the moon is spiraling awat from earth at 4cm a year. this person doesn't think it will ever go away from the earth though. it's orbit will stabilize.

http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/in ... 116AAGH8DO

http://nz.answers.yahoo.com/question/in ... 217AAD7iAj

and there is even a wiki about it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_lase ... experiment

could all this be by design? it appears as though the moon has slowed the earth over time from a 20 hour day to a 24 hour day. Is now a transitional period and the aliens plan to slow it down even more? are they possibly working in the interests of the capitalists to make the work day longer and thus get more out of it's salaried workers?

or possibly, it's all because the universe is one huge pile of random coincidences, and humans need to impose some sort of pattern on them, where there isn't one, to keep feeling like we are important, as though life exists for some reason, not just a random by-product of several lucky coinciding circumstances.

Sometimes, when you are deh moon, you get a bit 'ungry, and you eat lots of food round a jupita's house, and then you get a bit fat. When you are the moon...

But, buh, I'm not as fat as that big saturn bastad ahah!

I think its crazy we have planets that are just gassy giants ....like Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune. Difficult to comprehend.
