Not completely true. Since last year there are several locations that are restricted by the new smoking law, fe. all the cultural & youth centres.
And I agree with Ramadanman, it's a bitch when people start lighting up spliffs when it's not allowed. It's not that hard to go outside for a couple of minutes, especially when you know that if you stay inside you're only bringing the promoter into trouble ...

also it has led to more "jump-up style" tunes to keep people inside, and also to stop the dj himself aching for a spliff you often get straight mixing from one tune to another with no "breathe" time and a lack of eg second drops etc as discussed in another thread.
Whistla touched on this but does anyone else feel that the actual atmosphere of the music has been affected?
I think he may be on to something.
the atmosphere of a certain song or music is a very personal thing, thats the only issue with this thread. one mans 'atmosphere' is another mans nightmare...its too personal to get a conclusive answer. and one mans jump up cheesy mixing, is another mans euphoric slow motion, never gonna forget this-mix!! (you know the type..)

Just smoke a cigarette, burn a marijuana incense stick under your left nostril and hoover up the horsey medicine with your right

Simple answer is to design a scent that smells of skunk and then get everyone to wear it, that way it won't seem quite so obvious, the bouncers won't know who to check and the police will be unaware that there's a problem.
Hmm....

There's one plant called Cat's Something (can't remember the full name) that smells just like skunk. Don't wanna turn up to a night looking like a houseplant though.

Nothing will stop me blazing indoors @ the rave. But i must say it has reduced the ammount of zoots that get blazed inside. I find myself blazing most of the heads outdoors but get pissed off towards the end and just start blazing on the floor. I Got chucked out of the END once when skream was playin for bunnin at about 2am but muhahaha nothing can stop me blazing when something like cotti's sensi dub comes on, i just make sure i blaze zoots indoors within the last hour so im not so pissed off if the boucers try it.
But yeah i think its deffinately ruined the atmosphere but i rekon blazing kinda enhances it rather then relying on smoking alone. It does put a damper on things but nothing that would stop me hiting a rave because of it.

I am so passionate about this that it forced me to join dubstep forum. Smoking ban is absolutley wank, It was ALL about smoking a zoot while skanking, now all the tokers are banished outside.
One good thing though, anyone go to exodus/dmz on the 5th of october? BARE blazin goin on inside, even the bouncers!!

can anyone give me some good names for either 'smoking' or 'blazing' skunk or names for what they call it, down in devon we just call it smoking weed but would like to know how other people describe it
