Does anyone know of any good record shops in the Southampton area that sell Dubstep vinyl?

errr, no. HMV gets the odd Tempa/Hyperdub release but that's it.

Online is the one.

Go into trip2 if you know it... they sell bare drum and bass..

i'm pretty sure if you ask them they will happily order in some dubstep and if enough people are on it they should start to get it in regularly..

i deal with them from work and they are safe guys and they'd be glad of the business too

safe

Yeh, Tripp 2 in the Bargate Centre. It's still goin.
Totally a dnb orientated record shop, they used to stock a bit of dubstep a while back just to see if anyone was interested but they stopped stocking it soon afterward due to a lack of interest.

I heard on ye olde grapevine that there's a new 'independent record store' opening in the Marlands Centre as well, gunna be stocking a variety of stuff.

I noticed in HMV the other day they had that Four:Twenty Martin Buttritch remixes ep thing....they really don't get stuff in regular enough though.

trust me tripp2 will stock dubstep again if they can see that there's enough interest... it's up to you guys to go and show them that there's a demand for it...

Yeh I ask them in trip2 when I move to So'ton in August an they were havin none of it. The amonut of people I have found here of late aswell who would go an buy it, if it was there, it makes sense buying online as I have done for the past few years since every 4 out of 5 record shops closed down and went online or out of business.
