most of mine are sound, except for this whinging american temp we have who has absolutely no ability to problem solve. she simply can't see what wrong if something doesn't work.

for example yesterday she went mental cause she couldn't burn a cd. it just wasn't working. she just sat there staring at the screen with that fucking "no matter what you do or say I'm going to act like this is the end of the world" look on her slap of a face.

she'd put a dvd into a cd drive.

Not exactly a coworker, but fuck it this is close enough to warrant getting this off my chest.

Im having to do an assignment at the moment, involving a 15 minute presentation titled "what is pain?"

And weve been lumbered with an absoloute TWAT

That is all.

If I wander into the office being a bit down, all I get is stnuc calling me a grumpy bastard. Anyone else suffers and they're just a bit down. stnuc.
I would hate to see what your "a bit down" is.

When you wander into work without that "just do the seven hours, keep your head down" mentality, and realise that the majority of people around you are outwardly polite, but ultimately fake, shallow, tedious and annoying, that the money you get manages to keep your head above water but fuck all else, that your friends stimulate you intellectually really well, but you spend most of the day with people that don't or recovering from them (I do work with some absolute diamonds though has to be said). Trying to find a new job but then realising that most of those jobs look as shit or mean you'll be even poorer and then thinking that unless you can appeal to people that you find contemptible that you might end up doing this for the rest of your fucking life.

That sort of "a bit down"

Got to have gratitude for music and good mates to keep you going though :D

Haha, O wow, thats quite.........In fact theres not even a word what I know that can describe how awkward that would make me feel and how sad I'd think he is.

I don't work so I don't have annoying co-workers but theres really annoying woman at college who only speaks when shes saying "excuse me" or.. "Sorry"

That reallllllllllly annoys me, the whole group will be in a discussion and she will just shake her head when someone asks her input, not even say no.
Granted if she don't want to socialize she don't have to but surely everyone has a opinion!? Not everyone is going to agree on one thing, in fact not even two out of eight in my group can agree on one thing haha.

Watch I'll find out next week shes foreign and can't speak much English. I'd feel like a right prick

that's it right there bustah.

the ironic thing is that even though i know how much nicer the workplace would be if we were listening to good tunes, i have absolutely no desire to play good musik in the office, because it would be wasted on certain people who would rather listen to casio keyboard remixes of lionel ritchie.

fuck.

The fact when the going gets tough my co-worker is utterly incapable of getting going. Just useless.

Had to go to a retirement do last night, food was quite nice but watching women in their mid-50's getting too drunk and fooling themselves that they're still hot property is really quite creepy. I'm so glad we're not having a xmas party this year, always hideous.
Hmm....

i hate it when you have to do some kind of group task (happens more in college than work i guess) and there are 1 or 2 people who don't pull their weight or do anything at all in the group, so its always left down to the other person to do ALL the work

the amount of fucking times i've had to to do the whole project myself and then have these twats who've done nothing stand by and still take the credit at the end
